Position Summary The Resident Relations Specialist is responsible for coordinating all of the requests from the community and monitoring daily, property-related communications to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for the coordination, communication, and application process for prospective residents. Position Reports To: Community/Leasing Manager- depending on project Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Processes all applications and communicates applicable policies Responsible for coordinating with RCI in placement of families in conjunction with Community Manager Responsible for communication with prospective resident for updates on wait list and move in / document status Coordinates all move-in/inspection dates with residents Ensures all conversations and service requests are documented in resident file and software management system. Coordinates all property management requests for residents Conducts follow-up calls and/or emails to customers to ensure satisfaction is obtained Assists in organizing, attending, and scheduling property events, activities, classes, etc. Conducts resident move-in inspections Conducts all lease document reviews with new residents Conducts property business according to company policy. Performs other duties as required. Education and/or Experience. Must have high-school or equivalent education and experience in multifamily housing property management. Skills/Specialized Knowledge
Must be able to concentrate with some interruption Proficiency in computer skills and database management programs in order to develop and/or complete required reports Ability to operate standard office equipment. Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills. Excellent telephone and oral communication skills. Must have knowledge of multifamily housing industry and property management, included but not limited to resident relations, software management systems, and leasing skills. Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret business reports. Required Licenses Valid drivers license if required to operate a licensed motor vehicle in order to perform the job duties. Other Requirements To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform all essential functions satisfactorily. The requirements define the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform the essential functions. Vision requirements include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to sit or stand up to eight hours a day as well as walk and reach frequently. Must use hands to finger and hold. Must be able to travel independently. Mental Functions The ability to collect and comprehend data in order to problem-solve variables in standardized situations. The ability to concentrate on work of moderate detail with some interruption and office background noise. Must be able to remember complex task assignments given over long periods of time. Work Environment Normal office or administrative working conditions with little or no exposure to undesirable elements.
